Top Nigerian Lawyer, John Odubela, Is Dead

The Head of Chamber, Rickey Tarfa & Co. and Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), John Olusegun Odubela, has died at the age of 55.

According to The Punch, the deceased who was a former Ogun State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology in the administration of ex-Governor Ibikunle Amosun reportedly died on Monday.

Odubela bagged the title Senior Advocate in September 2017.

The late lawyer worked for several VIPs, such as former Kogi-West lawmaker, Senator Dino Melaye; Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill Akpabio; and the All Progressives Congress candidate in the last Edo State governorship election, Osagie Ize-Iyamu.

Odubela was survived by a wife and three daughters.
