Kidnappers on Friday abducted the wife of Olugbenga Ale, Chief of Staff to Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu.

It was gathered that she was kidnapped around Owena after the Joseph Ayo Babalola University while on her way back to Ondo from Lagos State.

“She was abducted today around Owena. The location is inward Akure after Joseph Ayo Babalola University. That’s all I know for now”, a source disclosed on Friday afternoon.

This development is coming about twenty-four hours after a first-class traditional ruler in Ondo State, the Oluifon of Ifon in Ose local government, Oba Isreal Adeusi, was murdered by suspected kidnappers.

Naija News understands that the Ondo First Class Monarch was said to have been shot at about 5:50 pm on Thursday near Elegbeka village along the Benin-Akure highway while returning to his community after a meeting in Akure, the Ondo State capital.

Armed robbers also attacked an old generation bank in Ode Irele town, headquarters of Irele Local Government Area of Ondo State on Thursday afternoon.

The thieves escaped with a huge amount of money while one person was killed by a stray bullet during the operation.

Governor Akeredolu had while reacting to the killing of the traditional ruler, said that Nigeria is in a serious security crisis.
