Nigerians Mocks Woman Who Returned N14 Million Mistakenly Credited Into Her Account

An Enugu state woman has reportedly returned N13,946,400 mistakenly transferred to her account by a Non-Governmental Organization.

According to the report, the woman whose name was given as Mrs Josephine Nchetaka Chukwujama Eze, in agreement with her husband Chukwujama Eze, returned the money approximated to N14 million, mistakenly credited to the wife’s bank account from a company she has no business with.

Naija News understands that the mother of three after receiving the mouthwatering alert of N13,946,400 from Sankiya Global Investment Ltd, confessed to the husband of her intension to return the money to her bank.

The couple reportedly visited bank the following morning being Tuesday, August 4, 2020, and reported of the erroneous transaction.

Speaking on the development, Mr Eze who is said to be a journalist and lawyer, noted that quite a number of people have laughed and condemned them for returning the money. However, he said he’s proud of his wife.

Meanwhile, a school teacher has been sentenced to 28 months imprisonment in Plateau State over alleged theft of N28,000.
