Nollywood mouns the passing away of veteran actor, Ogun Majek
Nigeria’s movie industry has been thrown into another round of mourning following the death of Nollywood veteran actor, Gbolagade Akinpelu popularly known as Ogun Majek.
The death of the actor was confirmed on Thursday by the President of Theatre Arts and Movie Practitioners Association of Nigeria, Bolaji Amusan, aka Mr Latin.
The actor had been suffering from an undisclosed ailment but has now been lost to the cold hands of death.
His health condition was brought to the public domain around April 2020 by actress, Foluke Daramola who made attempts to raise funds for his treatment.
“Alhaji Ogunmajek SOS health issues have been receiving the tremendous supports of humane and kind-hearted Nigerians from all walks of life, since our foundation came out to seek financial supports to help him come out of the life-threatening condition,” she wrote.
