Breaking! Nigerian Reggae Artiste, Majek Fashek Is Dead

Popular Nigerian reggae singer and guitarist, Majekodunmi Fasheke, popularly known as Majek Fashek is dead.

He was aged 58.

His death was confirmed by his manager Omenka Uzoma, in a post on Instagram.

It is true that the African legendary icon has gone to be with the Lord his maker,” Omenka said.

Majek Fashek was best known for his 1988 album, ‘Prisoner of Conscience’, which contained his hit song ‘Send Down The Rain’.

He was popularly called the ‘Rainmaker’ due to that song
