COVID-19: List Of Countries In Africa With Highest Coronavirus Deaths
The Regional Office of the World Health Organization in Africa in Brazzaville, Congo, has revealed that Africa has recorded over 3,400 deaths due to complications from Coronavirus.
WHO in the lastest data released noted that the continent has recorded 3,453 deaths, while 115,237 coronavirus cases and 46,000 recoveries have been recorded in 54 countries.
As of Tuesday morning, Egypt has 735 reported deaths, the highest on the continent, followed by Algeria with 609 deaths and South Africa with 481 deaths.
Other countries are Nigeria (233 deaths), Morocco (198 deaths), Cameroon (165 deaths), Sudan (146 deaths), Mali (67 deaths), DR Congo (66 deaths), Niger (62 deaths), Chad (61 deaths), and lia (61 deaths).
Meanwhile, the World Health Organization, on Monday stated that the number of coronavirus cases in Africa has risen to over 110,900 in the past 24 hours.
