Coronavirus: Deji Adeyanju Condemns Nigerians Criticising Kyari

The Convener of Concerned Nigerian, Deji Adeyanju, has reacted to the report that President Muhammadu Buhari’s Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, has tested positive for Coronavirus.

Naija News had earlier reported that the Chief of Staff tested positive for COVID-19.

It was reported that President Buhari was also tested for the virus on Monday but his results came back negative.

Adeyanju while reacting to the development condemned Nigerians who were mocking Kyari for contracting the virus.

The activist noted that Kyari went to Germany in search of solutions to the Nigerian’s electricity problem.

He said, “You may not like Abba Kyari but he went to Germany to get a solution to our electricity problem.”

“If we can’t show empathy, let’s please keep quiet. You can be next. My prayers are with him & his family.”
