Chaos In Ogun State After SARS Officers Allegedly Shot 2 Hausa Traders

Officers of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad popularly known as SARS has caused chaos in Ogun State after a gunshot targetted at an Internet fraudster hits two pepper sellers.

Naija News understands that the incident which happened at Olomore, in Abeokuta, Ogun State has stirred fear among residents after the SARS officers shot two traders.

It was said that the Anti-Robbery Squad had invaded the market while on the chase of Yahoo boys (Internet Fraudsters) who ran into the market leading to the stray bullet which hits the two traders.

Confirming the incident, an eye witness whose name is given as Adamu narrated to newsmen that one of the victims was shot in the head and the other was shot in the leg. He, however, added that the victims had been taken to a hospital close by for treatment.

This media could not at this time ascertain if the other victim shot in the head is alive or dead. But reports confirm that the other is receiving treatment to his wounds at the moment.

Further reports obtained by Naija News confirm that unnumbered Hausa traders had staged a protest following the alleged death of one of their colleagues during SARS shooting.

However, no comment has been received yet from the state Police command.
