As an international student, you may need an entry visa for Germany depending on your origin and the length of your stay in that country.


Before you begin your studies, you will need to prove that you have enough money to support yourself. In most cases, applicants must prove that they have about 8,700 euros for one year.


If you want to study at a German university, you will need a “Hochschulzugangsberechtigung” – or “university entrance diploma”. This is a graduation certificate that qualifies you for university studies.

For most programs leading to a degree, knowledge of German is a prerequisite for admission to a German university. However, you do not need to know German if you want to register for an international program.


If you want to study in Germany, you must have health insurance. You must show proof of health insurance when you register at the university and apply for a residence permit.

2. Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Scholarships

4. Scholarships for International Students at Hof University,

The Scholarship is designed to fund fees for International Students pursuing their Masters and Undergraduate Degree in Germany. International students must be enrolled as full-time students or double-degree

12. Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Scholarships in Germany for International Students

13. Kofi Annan MBA Scholarships

Kofi Annan Fellowship is a fellowship grant for an emerging leader from a developing country for a two-year Master’s in Management (MIM) or a one-year full-time MBA education at ESMT Berlin in Berlin, Germany.
