Before you begin your studies, you will need to prove that you have enough money to support yourself. In most cases, applicants must prove that they have about 8,700 euros for one year.

The scholarship department of the Heinrich Böll Foundation grants scholarships to graduates, and doctoral students from outside Germany.

An application for a scholarship for an undergraduate degree is not possible. International applicants have to prove their proficiency in German. Good or very good knowledge of the German language is required (at least B2 Level or DSH2).

2. Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Scholarships

Application Deadline: 15 January and 15 July

With its scholarship program, the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung supports foreign students for a postgraduate or master’s program and doctoral candidates at German universities. It actively contributes to intercultural dialogue, the formation of international networks and the internationalization of universities.

3. Bayer Foundations

4. Scholarships for International Students at Hof University,

12. Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Scholarships in Germany for International Students

13. Kofi Annan MBA Scholarships

Kofi Annan Fellowship is a fellowship grant for an emerging leader from a developing country for a two-year Master’s in Management (MIM) or a one-year full-time MBA education at ESMT Berlin in Berlin, Germany.
