Five Killed, Two Injured In Latest Kaduna Attack
Five persons have been confirmed dead while two others injured in the recent bandits’ attack in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has confirmed.
Naija News reports that the attack has also left several residents of 17 villages displaced. Those displaced as a result of the attack are now taking refuge at Birnin Yero LEA Primary School.
The confirmation of the attack was made in a statement by the Zonal Coordinator of the agency, Ishaya Chinoko.
This online news platform understands that Chinoko delivered his statement on the attack when he led a team on a rapid assessment of the displaced persons from the 17 villages.
According to him, during the assessment, the team was informed of the death of five persons and two wounded ones.
Chinoko in his statement condoled with the Kaduna State Government and citizens in the state over the loss of lives and property, arising from the attack.
He further assured them that the agency will submit its report to commence immediately asistance brought to them by the Federal Government.
