Bank Security Officers Assault Client Inside Banking Hall

A middle-aged client was on Wednesday mercilessly beaten by some security operatives attached to a popular commercial bank (name withheld) at one of their Branches at Osapa, in the Lekki axis of Lagos state.

Naija News understands that the security operatives had to descend on the client when he was asked to leave the banking hall as a result of a heated argument he had with a customer in the bank.

This online news platform understands that the security operatives had asked the client to leave the premises of the bank after he had the heated argument with another customer while he refused to step out of the banking hall.

Although the cause of the argument involving the client and his fellow customer is still yet to be ascertained, Naija News understands that the client insisted on closing his account with the bank and withdrawing all his money before leaving.

In a report obtained by Naija News, his intention to close his account was not satisfied as the Police officers who were apparently displeased with the intention of the client descended on him and reportedly hit him with the but of one of their guns.
