Sarah Marantz Lindenberg, a white businesswoman has claimed in an article with fashion magazine that she brought about the idea of a “washable silk wrap” popularly known as hair bonnet amongst the black.

The purpose of this hair bonnet is to prevent hair breakage and preserve hairstyles.

The white businesswoman says “My concept came out of a problem that needed solving.”

She also made the public to know that she founded the company, NiteCap and to sell her “invention” which was already in use by millions of black women.

“It inspired me to create something of my own,” she said.

It appears that her invention is an updated version of Lakeisha Walker’s in 1906.

The obvious difference between Lindenberg’s bonnet and 92.8 per cent of the women who have ever been on a “natural hair journey” is that Lindenberg sells her bonnets for $98. and that is the major reason why her folks are displeased.
