Labour Storms UAE Embassy To Protest “Inhuman Treatment” Of Migrants

Members of the Nigeria Labour Congress and some affiliate unions from around Africa have stormed the United Arab Emirate embassy in Abuja over the alleged inhuman treatment of Nigerian Migrants and other Africans in the Gulf countries.

Carrying placards with different inscriptions, the protesters today matched in front of the embassy to make their demands to the embassy.

Gulf Countries, otherwise known as Gulf Cooperation Council include Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman – or Sultanate of Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAEthe United Arab Emirates.
