Governor Udom Emmanuel Sacks Commissioner

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel, has sacked the Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Sufficiency, Uduak Udo-Inyang.

Naija News reports that the Secretary to the State Government, Emmanuel Ekuwem, made this known in a statement on Thursday where he noted that the commissioner was sacked with an immediate effect.

Governor Emmanuel further directed the Commissioner for Science and Technology, Professor Nse Essien, to immediately take over the duties and functions Udo-Inyang.

Although, there was no reason for the commissioner’s sack, the statement thanked the outgoing commissioner for his service to the state and wished him good luck in his future endeavours.
