Buhari States Stance On Bauchi, Edo Assembly Crisis

President Muhammadu Buhari says when he completes his second term in 2023 he would retire to Daura.

Naija News reports that Daura which is located in Katsina State, northern Nigeria, is the hometown of the President.

This online news platform understands that the President made this comment on Tuesday while meeting with traditional rulers at the presidential villa in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.

His words: “This is my second and final term, at the end of which I will, God willing, go to Daura and settle down,” he said.

Meanwhile, the rulers, led by the Sultan of Sokoto and chairman of National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria, NCTRN, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III paid the congratulatory visit to the President over his re-election.
