The search for the results of the Presidential election has been the trending topic in Nigeria in the last 48 hours.

Results from the Presidential election and the National Assembly has been trooping in upon the conclusion of the election in some parts of the country.

The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Muhammadu Buhari, has been announced as the winner of the election in Osun State after pulling total votes of 347,634 to defeat the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar who scored 337, 377 votes

The State Collation Officer, Professor Toyin Ogundipe, announced at the INEC headquarters in Osogbo around 12:25 am on Monday that President Buhari scored 347,634 votes.

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos then stated that Atiku Abubakar, the candidate of PDP scored 337, 377 votes.

He said the total number of registered voters was 1, 674, 729, while the total number of accredited voters was 732, 984, the News Agency of Nigeria reports.

Ogundipe further revealed that the number of valid votes was 714,682, while rejected votes were 17,200, while the number of vote cast was 731,882.
