EFCC arrests Former DSS DG Ita Ekpenyong

Mr. Ita Ekpenyong, a  former Director-General of the Department of State Security Service, has, on Thursday, been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over allegation of N17billion fraud in the agency.

According to The Nation, The arrest was said to be part of ongoing probe of the sacked DG of the agency, Lawal Daura.

The two DGs have failed to account for the money allocated to the agency in the last 3 years.
