The Northern Senators Forum has suspended the Senator Abdullahi Adamu, representing Nasarawa West constituency as it chairman.
He was replaced with Senator Aliyu Wamakko.
Deputy President of the Senate, Ike Ekweremadu, announced this at the close of the plenary on Wednesday.
It would be recalled that Adamu last week led nine other senators to condemn the amendment to the Electoral Act seeking to reorder the sequence of polls during general elections.
