Nollywood actress Calista Okoronkwo, has taken to her Instagram to recount an experience she had with a man that left her sad all through the day.

The Actress who is popularly known for her role as Nurse Titi in TV series, Clinic Matters, was confronted by a man who call actresses hustler who sleep with people to make their way up.

She wrote;

Went out yesterday with my sister @adellenkuda to have a meal with a male friend. First time meeting …great food…conversation was going well and the evening was looking good as I love good conversations. In a blink of an eye, this guy spoils the entire mood and says “what do you have to say about the fact that people see actresses as hustlers?”

He doesn’t stop there …he goes further to say he works with lots of top guns in Nigeria and he knows a couple of them who date actresses. In a split second, the food went from good to bad…evening went from great to ‘ungreat’ (I know there’s no word like that)…conversation turned sour.

How do you say something like that to someone you are just meeting for the first time over a meal? I actually saw that question as immature because the generalization is just unforgivable . If that question was coming from someone I have known for a while, it won’t have been as offensive as it was.

We do our best to put smiles on the faces of people by working tirelessly to make sure there’s something for your viewing pleasure and you put this annoying tag on us???? Trust my sister, she just stood right up and walked away.

I did my best to maintain composure because I don’t want any blogger writing about me this new year. It took the Grace of God for me to be calm.

Actresses are not all the terrible things you call them! Just like there are still good people around, there are still good actresses around. STOP THE GENERALIZATION ! WE ARE NOT STRAYS!
