The Federal Government has alerted the public that there are some brands of poisonous foreign rice being circulated across the country.
The government also declared that at present, all foreign brands of rice in Nigeria were smuggled into the country.

The National Judicial Council (NJC) has rejected the resignation letter of Justice Adeniyi Ademola and decided to sack him as a judge of the Federal High Court.

Stop Criticising Jonathan’s Govt – Amaechi
Minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, says he agrees with those saying the current administration should stop criticising former president Goodluck Jonathan’s government.
The minister, according to the Nation, said this on Wednesday when he received the report of the inter-ministerial committee for the finalisation of the Draft National Transport Policy (NTP).

NYSC: Buhari Approves Corps Members Enrollment In NHIS
President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered enrollment of members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) into the National Health Insurance Scheme, NHIS.
The Director-General of the NYSC, Brig-Gen. Suleiman Kazaure disclosed this yesterday while addressing the corps members at the Osun NYSC permanent orientation camp in Ede.
