Killer Vaccine: Nnamdi Kanu’s brother denies rumours of IPOB’s involvement
Prince Emmanuel Kanu, the younger brother of the head of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has responded to allegations by Igbos for Nigeria Movement, INM, that he masterminded the recent rumours of Monkey Pox killer vaccinein the South East.
On WednesdayINM had alleged Emmanuel Kanu of planting the spread of the false rumours.

Buhari approves pension payment for Biafra war veterans
President Muhammadu Buhari has granted approval for the payment of pension to soldiers, policemen and paramilitary officers that participated on the side of Biafra during Nigeria’s civil war.
The affected officers were dismissed from service for their participation in the war which lasted between 1967 and 1970.

Monkey pox spreads to 11 states – Minister
Minister of health, Prof. Isaac Adewole, disclosed the Monkey pox virus outbreak has spread to 11 states of the federation with 74 suspected cases recorded.
The minister made the disclosure in Abuja on Wednesday while briefing State House correspondents on the outcome of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting which was presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Monkey Pox: Delta State records six suspected cases
Six suspected cases of Monkey Pox disease which has been ravaging some states in Nigeria have been recorded in Agbor, Delta State.
The State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Nicholas Azinge confirmed the development to Channels Television.

Goodluck Jonathan and IBB hold closed door meeting
Former President, Goodluck Jonathan and former military head of state, General Ibrahim Babangida (rtd), on Wednesday, held a closed door meeting at the Minna residence of the former military President.
Jonathan, reportedly, arrived IBB’s Minna hill top residence about 10 a.m in company of former Senator Nimi Barigha Amange.
