Osinbajo approves appointment of two people ‘undergoing multi-million-naira probe’ on ICPC board
Two board members of the Independent Corrupt Practices and other offences Commission (ICPC) whose appointments were approved by Acting President Yemi Osinbajo are currently under investigation for corruption, according to ICIR.
The website said the anti-corruption agency is currently probing Maimuna Aliyu and Sa’ad Alanamu for alleged corruption in the region of N1billion.

President Buhari receives Archbishop of Canterbury in London
President Muhammadu Buhari played host to the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, today Friday, August 4, visited at the Abuja House in London.

Saraki reveals why Senate want to remove president’s power in constitution amendment
Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has said that presidential assent was an unnecessary addition to the process of amendment of the constitution.
He told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja that it was with conviction on that that the eighth National Assembly approved the removal of presidential assent to an amended constitution.

NASS is ready for new minimum wage – Saraki
The President of the Senate, Dr Bukola Saraki, said the National Assembly was ready to consider and pass a new Minimum Wage Bill whenever it was presented by the executive.
Saraki, who made this known when he featured in News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) Forum in Abuja, said that the senate was aware of the need to review the current minimum wage.
