Former President Trump Mocks Biden's Stage Exits and Claims President Loses Focus "After His Drugs Wear Off" at Las Vegas Event

Former President Donald Trump took aim at President Joe Biden, mocking his confused exits from the stage and claiming that the 80-year-old president loses focus when his medication wears off. The comments came during a recent campaign stop in Las Vegas, as Trump continues to build momentum ahead of the 2024 election.

In a full physical comedy routine, Trump mimicked Biden’s often confused exits from the stage following public addresses. “He can’t put two sentences together and he’s in charge of nuclear warfare,” Trump told the crowd of adoring supporters.

Trump went on to perform a mime routine of Biden searching for an exit from the podium. “By that time, all the stuff has worn off, so he’s totally incoherent,” he said. At one point, Trump spun in circles around the stage, imitating Biden’s apparent confusion as he waited for a handler to escort him from the podium.

The crowd erupted into laughter and cheers, with many chanting Trump’s name after he finished his bit. This isn’t the first time Trump has mocked Biden’s physical abilities. At a rally last week, he took a jab at Biden for using a shorter staircase to board Air Force One, referring to them as “children’s stairs.”

Biden has been seen using the shorter staircase following a series of high-profile stumbles, including falls while boarding and exiting the presidential aircraft. The former president seized on these moments, telling prospective voters in New Hampshire that they would likely prefer a leader who can walk off Air Force One “nice and high” and “wave at everyone” without fear of falling.

In May, Biden fell at the Air Force Academy commencement ceremony, later joking to reporters, “I got sandbagged.” In June of last year, he also took a spill off his bicycle in front of the press while at his weekend home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. The White House said his foot got caught on a pedal while trying to dismount and that he wasn’t hurt.

Although Biden is running for reelection in 2024, polls show that 73% of Americans believe he is too old for the job, including two-thirds of his own party.
