Singer Eric Nally has garnered huge attention for himself as the lead singer of American rock band Foxy Shazam. However, his popularity only exploded when he hooked on a track for Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.

Biography, age and rise to fame
Eric Sean Nally was born in Cincinnati, Ohio in the United States of America in 1982. Cincinnati obviously has a lot of memories for him as he was raised here and also met the guys who were to become his future band members here. Eric attended an all-boys secondary school. He was one of two white boys in an all-black school.
Eric Nally became a member of the rock musical group, Foxy Shazam when it debuted in 2004. Foxy Shazam hails from Cincinnati, Ohio and consisted of six key members. They were Sky White (pianist), Aaron McVeigh (drummer), Loren Turner (guitarist), Daisy Caplan (bassist), Alex Nauth (backup vocalist and trumpeter) and of course Eric Nally as lead vocalist.
Foxy Shazam’s debut album was titled The Flamingo and was released shortly after forming. Other albums are Presentation, Foxy Shazam (self-titled) and The Church of Rock and Roll. Ten years after its formation, the band decided to go on hiatus for an unknown period. This came months after the release of their fifth album on April 2, 2014.
During Foxy Shazam’s ten year reign, Eric was known to perform a number of crazy stunts. He even played media for fools for five long years. He tricked them into believing that the band’s name was inspired by his high school’s cool shoe code name. Everyone swallowed this until they revealed it was just a joke.
Well, Eric Nally has been pretty busy since breaking up with Foxy Shazam, in fact, he’s gotten even more popular. In 2015 he joined Macklemore and Ryan Lewis to sing their pop song ‘Downtown’ which became a major radio hit. The song achieved great commercial success and Eric became even more famous for his role in singing the hook. He also toured Europe with the duo and reportedly gained first-hand experience which he later absorbed into his own song. During the tour, he closed their performance each time by singing the song’s hook. Apparently, it helped his budding music career.
The rock artist is as successful in songwriting as he is writing his songs and for others. He is credited for co-writing with singers like Loaf and Justin Hawkers. His personal writings are mainly inspired by events that happened to him or that surround him. He recently released his first solo album.

Mr. Nally stands at a height of 5 feet 3 inches (160 cm). He sports a fit physique with a body weight of 72 kg (159 lbs). The talented singer maintains a jet black hair color which is undoubtedly one of his hallmarks. His eyes are blue in color.
