Who is Brynn Thayer?

Brynn was born on October 4, 1949 in North Dallas, Texas, United States. She is the daughter of Margery Schwartz Thayer and Williams Paul Thayer. His father, Williams Thayer, was a former Navy officer and business executive, as well as Deputy Secretary of Defense in the Reagan administration from 1983 to 1985.

It is known that the status of his parents provided him with a first-class basic education and other necessary rights. Upon graduation from high school, Brynn Thayer went to the Beverly Hills Playhouse Acting School where she studied acting.

His acting career

Brynn Thayer’s acting career began actively in 1978 when she played a supporting role in the popular ABC soap opera – One Life to Live and it should be noted that it was this television soap opera that held the attention of its viewers. The series is also known to have won multiple Emmys and Brynn was not left out as she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in 1983. She also won the award Soap Opera Digest for Best Actress in Drama Series Role in Sitcom.

In 1986, the actress left One Life to Live and was seen playing leading roles in CBS television series such as TV 101 which aired for only one season beginning from 1988 to 1989. Shortly after the end of the series, Brynn went on to star in another series, Son of the Island which aired for one season also from 1989 to 1990. She also starred in a number of popular TV shows which include How to Escape Murder , costumes, cold case, castle, moonlight, suspect, just to name a few.

Recently she starred in Bruce Beresford-Redmond story which was released in 2015 and Days of Our Lives where she played Susan Banks. Brynn Thayer is also in the film Offer and Understand, Constitute, Compose directed by Anthony Vietro, which should be released in 2019.

Besides being an extraordinary actress, Brynn Thayer is also a screenwriter, director and producer. The Worst Days series was written, directed and produced by her with the help of her working partner, Roudbari, and the series has won numerous awards and tours on the festival circuit. She is also a co-founder of Zazangels, a charity organization.

Why did she leave Matlock?

The actress is known for being a regular cast on the popular ABC TV series Legal – Matlock which she joined in 1992. The legal TV series depicts how Matlock identifies offenders and perpetrators and brings them to justice after dramatic scenes in the courtroom. Brynn portrayed the character of Leanne, the daughter of the show’s main character (Andy Griffith).

When Leanne mysteriously left the show after the eighth season, her departure raised several eyebrows. However, it was later discovered that her character was written off at that time. Meanwhile, the series aired for 9 full seasons from 1986 to 1995 and it was a huge hit.

Brynn Thayer has been married three times. She was first married to Hugh Robertson whom she tied the knot with in 1971. Sadly, a few years after the wedding, the union was disengaged following the divorce in 1977.

After the divorce, Brynn returned to single status and after about 4 years she remarried. This time around, she tied the knot with Gerald Anthony and their marriage took place in 1981. Amazingly, within three years, their relationship turned sour and was officially dissolved in 1983.

The actress remained single until almost 11 years old when she fell in love with award-winning producer David Steinberg. David is known for his work on SpongeBob Squarepants, The Adventures of Kid Danger, and Breadwinner, among others. The couple tied the knot in 1994 and have lived happily ever after for more than two decades.
