He was born in Harlem, New York, New York on September 10, 1998, to his immigrant parents. Although the details regarding the name of his parents are not yet known, reports have emerged that they were from Senegal in Africa.
As Sheck grew up, he took a particular interest in listening to music of all kinds, ranging from hip-hop to rap to Afrobeats from Africa. He listened to artists such as DMX, Seun Kuti (son of legendary Afrobeat singer Fela Kuti) and others. Sheck was so in love with old school music.

Nonetheless, Skye posted footage claiming he jumped over her fence to attack her.
