Hollywood star Josh Brener was born Joshua MaxBrener on October 1, 1984 in Houston, Texas. He was born to Sharon and Daniel Brener who raised him in a Jewish family. Although he has little information about his early years of education, the actor began acting in sixth grade following an injury that kept him out of baseball. His efforts won him the Tommy Tune Award, usually given to Houston-area high schools and their students. Her starring role in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum won her the award in 2003.

After high school, Brener went on to Harvard University where he was president of Hasty Pudding Theaters. He graduated from Harvard in 2007. He also studied acting at American Repertory Theater and teaches and coaches at Stan Kirsch Studios in Hollywood.

Josh Brener has been active in the entertainment business since 2009 till date. His first appearance was in the short film The Condom Killer in 2009 which he followed up with his role in The Guy Who Cured Cancer, Sofia and Sam and Song in a Convenience Store. In 2012 he appeared in one of his popular roles as Zack Miller on the television series Glory Daze. He previously played the role of a jewelry store clerk in Glee, a role we never saw because the scenes he appeared in were all deleted.
