Jessica Rothe – biography, age

Born Jessica Rothenberg, the actress was born on 28. May 1987 in Denver, Colorado to a Jewish family where Susan and Steve Rothenberg are her parents. Though not actually born into a family of artists, acting ran in Jessica’s blood through her grandmother, Colleen Rothenberg, who was a stage actress during her lifetime.

Jessica wasted no time before startingtrain as a future entertainer. She began taking ballet classes at the age of eight and attended summer theater camps as a teenager. She incorporated her passion and desire for acting into her formal education when, after graduating from Cherry Creek High School, she went on to study fine arts at Boston University. She graduated from college in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree. At the time of her graduation, Jessica was a skilled violinist, tap dancer and had a working knowledge of pottery.

Upon graduation, Jessica didn’t have to wait long to land her first on-screen role. She made her on-screen debut in a television show, America’s Most Searched: America Strikes Back , guest starring in an episode titled “The Pink Panthers” as Bojana Mitic. The following year, she starred in two episodes of The Onion News Network as Katie Clements, followed by another starring role in an episode of Happy Endings as an unnamed teenager. The trend continued in 2012 with Gossip Girl where she appeared in a lonely episode as another unnamed character.
