Aaron Lewis Bio
Aaron Lewis came into the world on April 13, 1972; he was born in Rutland City, Vermont to American parents. Aaron is of white ethnicity and holds an American citizenship. He graduated from high school in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Growing up as a child was not so easy for Aaron as his parents divorced when he was thirteen. The youngster spent more time with his grandfather Corky Lewis, a WWII veteran. It is thanks to him that Aaron got to know and developed a passion for country music. After his grandfather’s death, he continued to nurture the love of country music that his grandfather had sown in his life.
Musical career
Lewis started making music at the age of sixteen but was put off because there were a few people listening to country music at the time. This led Aaron to join his first children’s rock band J-CAT where he wrote songs and performed with the band for a few years before Staind was formed. He also began touring music with the Carlton Showband alongside bandmates including Tommy Hunter, Charlie Pride, Joe Diffie and The Osmonds, among others.
Through his musical touring, Aaron has seen steady growth in his musical career as well as his performances. He also formed a trio called The Three Pianos which he performed with for so many years at the Savoy Theater located in Glace Bay.
