The Jehovah’s witness groups was founded in the 18th century by Charles Taze Russell and over the last three century the group has grown with over 20 million followers world wide.

The Jehovah witness are not regular Christians as they have their own bible and have some belief that are different from the general christian beliefs this beliefs is what makes them completely different from other christians.

Here Are Seven Beliefs That Make Jehovah Witness Different From Other Christians

 1. Jehovah’s witness believe their faith is the only true faith

Jehovah’s Witnesses consider themselves to be Christians (but not Protestants), even though they reject the doctrine of the Trinity. They believe Jehovah God restored the true religion to the Earth, in the late 1800s. They say Jesus established the true Church and it continued and grew, but it became more corrupted so that there was hardly anybody throughout later centuries keeping the true faith. Only “a thin red line”.They would link themselves back to that “thin red line”, going all the way back to the apostles.
Jehovah’s Witnessess claim that Jesus was not divine and that the Holy Spirit is an “active force” and not a person. JWs listen to and accept everything their leaders state because they know they don’t have this anointing of ‘holy spirit’. But if they support the anointed class and work hard, they should get a secondary blessing. They’ll never get to heaven, like the anointed class, but they hope to merit approval (by obedience) to live forever on a paradise Earth. As they have no interest in heavenly spiritual life but are still fleshly (carnal, the Bible says) earthly pleasures appeal to them. That’s not just silly, it’s downright dangerous, both for them and for those who listen to them.

2. Jehovah’s Witnesses don’t believe in blood transfusion

This belief is based on their interpretation of Genesis 9:4; Leviticus 17:10; Deuteronomy 12:23; Acts 15:28, 29, which they say commands them to abstain from blood.

Another reason is that God sees blood as the representation of life. This is based on Leviticus 17:14, which says, “For the life of every sort of flesh is its blood because the life is in it. Consequently, I said to the Israelites: “You must not eat the blood of any sort of flesh because the life of every sort of flesh is its blood. Anyone eating it will be cut off.” Therefore, this group stays away from blood as a sign of respect and obedience to God. Jehovah’s Witnesses don’t go to war or get involved in Army or political matters

It is a well known fact to those who are familiar with Jehovah’s Witnesses that they forbid military service. They even forbid non-combat military service which has been a suitable alternative to conscientious objectors for many decades in this country. While they can’t actually disfellowship someone for joining the military the Watchtower can and does disassociate them and treats them as if they were disfellowshipped. Apparently the illegality of discriminating against someone who chooses to serve their country in military service directly affects what the Watchtower will and won’t do to their members. Any involvement in politics is also strictly forbidden including voting or running for any office. Even Jehovah’s Witnesses children are not allowed to run for student council or any other post that requires a vote.

Jehovah’s Witnesses are strongly discouraged from associating with anyone outside their religion. Contact with outsiders is limited to necessary interactions at work or at school, and anything beyond that is looked down upon. Outsiders are referred to by Witnesses as “worldly” and are to be avoided unless you’re attempting to convert them. Most Jehovah’s Witnesses’s also forbid their children from participating in organized sports or for that matter any after school activities. They believe that this distracts them from focusing on their religious duties and that extra, unnecessary association with those outside their religion is damaging. For example, Doug Shieldsan activist against religious oppression, control and abuse relate his experience as a childhood member . according to him , he was exposed to marijuana and alcohol at the ripe old age of FOURTEEN while going riding with other Jehovah’s Witness kids. Riding around and going to see movies was the only thing he was allowed to do.

Jehovah’s Witnesses shelters abusers

Jehovah’s Witnesses have claimed they were told not to report allegations of child abuse, as the organisation was accused of sheltering abusers. Several victims have come forward to accuse the organisation of a systemic cover up, with some revealing they were assaulted as children.The victims -claimed that the religion’s guidelines have shielded their abusers, as well as deterring victims from contacting the authorities.

Jehovah’s Witnesses dis-fellowship members for violations of their laws

Jehovah’s Witnesses disfellowship members for violations of their laws such as smoking, drinking to excess, fornication, adultery, murder, eating or accepting blood, adopting another faith or attending another church, and disagreeing with the teachings of their leaders, the Watchtower Bible And Tract Society. They will also disfellowship anyone found to be associating with another disfellowshipped person. Eating with such a person or even speaking to them is considered a grave sin.

Members who have left the Jehovah’s Witnesses for matters of conscience have one key complaint:Their despicable and harmful practice of shunning and damaging the reputation of any dissenting Jehovah’s Witness. A person’s beliefs about themselves determine almost all of their actions. When a person is indoctrinated into the Jehovah’s Witnesses s they are taught to believe that they don’t “deserve” to be loved, respected, or valued. They are taught to question everything except what the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society teaches. This goes far beyond merely revoking their membership. The Watchtower requires and demands that families and friends affiliated with the organization completely cut that person off from their lives. This has resulted in broken families, separation from parents, separation from children, divorce, suicide, and untold psychological damage to all involved.
