Tyrus was born on February 21, 1973 in Massachusetts, United States of America as George Murdoch. He grew up in Massachusetts along with his parents and siblings. However, there is no information about the parents and siblings of him. Furthermore, he was born under the zodiac sign of Pisces.
Regarding his education, in 1990 he attended Quartz Hill High School in Los Angeles County, California. After that, in 1992, she joined Antelope Valley College. He subsequently attended the University of Nebraska at Keaney in 1995 and studied to become a teacher. Since childhood he has developed an interest in sports, especially soccer. Tyrus: career and achievements
He began his professional wrestling career in September 2006. After signing a contract with WWE and being assigned to Deep South Wrestling (DSW), a WWE developmental territory. Tyrus began his career under the ring name G-Rilla and in his first match for the promotion which took place on September 7, he defeated Big Bully Douglas in a dark match.
On February 4, 2008, he was released from his WWE contract and returned to FCW in January 2010, after re-signing with WWE. And once again he formed an alliance with The Uso Brothers, Tamina and Donny Marlow and then defeated Jacob Novak and Ruy Parker before changing his ring name to Brodus Clay. Tyrus made his WWE NXT in-ring debut on December 14, 2010 and teamed with DiBiase to defeat Byron Saxon and his mentor Chris Masters.
