Tupac Shakur is the late American rapper, actor, and MC who is arguably one of the world’s greatest rappers who found love despite his life nearing the peak of his career. Growing up, he was known as Lasane, but later became Tupac – an 18th-century Peruvian revolutionary, Túpac Amaru II, who was executed after leading a rebellion against Spanish rule. To date, Shakur has been described as one of the most charismatic MCs of his time. Although his life was marked by violence and the gangster lifestyle, his trademark in the music industry and hip-hop shaped and shaped the new wave of rap artists.

Tupac Amaru Shakur (whose birth name was LesaneParish Crooks) was born on June 16, 1971 in New York City. He and his family spent time in Harlem before relocating to Baltimore, Maryland in 1984. Here he attended Paul Laurence Dunbar High School before transferring to the Baltimore School for the Arts, where he received classes in acting, poetry, jazz and ballet.

Tupac was first introduced to the music scene when he joined the group Digital Underground in 1991 as a roadie, dancer and MC. That year he also branched out as a solo artist, dropping his first album titled 2Pacalypse. Although the album had rave reviews, he became notorious as one of hip-hop’s champions of gangster culture, particularly in relation to racism, sexual violence, police killings, inner-city hardship, and other social issues. As a result of the album’s performance, his notoriety rose significantly, prompting him to pursue a film career the following year.

Some of the famous films in which he appeared were: ‘Juice’ (released 1992), Poetic Justice (released 1992)1993) in which he co-starred with ‘Janet Jackson’. His journey was fraught with some troubles along the way as he ran afoul of the law. In 1994, Tupac served a 15-day sentence on battery and assault charges. He was also serving eight months after being convicted of sexually assaulting a female fan.

He released his second album, Streng 4 Mein NIGGAZ , in 1993. After nine months in prison for sexual assault, Shakur was released in October 1995. He then formed a new group called Outlaw Immortalz. He also released his hit single “California Love” and his third album “Me Against the World” also in 1995 under the Death Row label. Shakur was also involved in the latter parts of his career in the East Coast-West Coast hip-hop rivalry This involvement led to serious conflicts with other record label employees, producers and rappers.The significant notable beef between him and The Notorious BIG was widely publicized.

Shakur married Keisha Morris-Shakur in 1995 but the marriage was dissolved a year later in 1996. Tupac claimed the reason for their split was the fact that he got married for the wrong reasons. He began dating Kidada Jones a few months after his divorce and the two were in Las Vegas around the time he was shot.

Kidada, Quincy Jones’ daughter, was waiting for Tupac at the hotel when she received the unfortunate news of the shooting. She stayed by his side until he gave up the ghost.

Regarding children, there are no known children that the rapper had before his death. However, there were rumors of a love child he had. However, this claim has yet to be confirmed.
