Graham was born in Canada on January 28, 1960, into a Jewish family with Ashkenazi Jewish roots. Graham’s birthday is January 28th. On the day Americans traditionally celebrate Thanksgiving, his mother, Evelyn Sher, died in 2012.

Drake, Sandi’s son, had a very strong relationship with his mother. Following the couple’s divorce, Ms. Graham was granted sole custody of Drake. The mother and son team continued to reside in Toronto after that, while Dennis moved to Memphis. Graham spent most of her time raising her son on Weston Road in Toronto, which is located on the city’s working-class west side.
