Graham was born in Canada on January 28, 1960, into a Jewish family with Ashkenazi Jewish roots. Graham’s birthday is January 28th. On the day Americans traditionally celebrate Thanksgiving, his mother, Evelyn Sher, died in 2012.

Drake, Sandi’s son, had a very strong relationship with his mother. In many of her songs, the Degrassi star has credited her as her inspiration and has also talked about how she was instrumental in her upbringing. Following the couple’s divorce, Ms. Graham was granted sole custody of Drake. The mother and son team continued to reside in Toronto after that, while Dennis moved to Memphis. Graham spent most of her time raising her son on Weston Road in Toronto, which is located on the city’s working-class west side.

Later, when Drake was in sixth grade, his mother, now 61, moved with him to a wealthier section of town called Forest Hill.
