BIOGRAPHY
After a stint at the Drama Center in London, Sean Harris made his film debut in 2001, in The Discovery of Heaven by Jeroen Krabbé . He then headed to the Cannes Croisette to present the musical biopic 24 Hour Party People , for which he resurrected Ian Curtis, the charismatic leader of the punk group Joy Division. Then delegated to supporting roles or furtive appearances, the British actor acquired notable visibility with the independent film Saxon . Here, under the direction of Greg Loftin , he plays Eddie, a former inmate embarked on a completely spooky adventure. Passing unnoticed on French screens, the film received a triumphant reception on the British indie scene.

A multifaceted actor, Sean Harris does not hesitate to try his hand at various registers. It is with this advantage that he landed the role of Simon Hillier in the action film Outlaw . On the film sets, he met Sean Bean , to whom he again starred in the highly acclaimed Red Riding Trilogy , a series of detective television films in which he played detective Bob Craven.

From 2011, Sean Harris’ career gained speed with the historical series The Borgias . The actor lends his red hair to the character of Micheletto Corella, the fierce mercenary in the service of Caesar Borgia. Spotted by Ridley Scott , he without hesitation joined the cast of the Alien prequel , Prometheus , as a member of the expedition organized by the Weyland company. But success really came in 2013, with the television fiction Southcliffe and the role of tormented serial killer Stephen Morton, which allowed him to be decorated with a BAFTA. In 2014, Sean Harris completed the cast of the horrific Deliver Us From Evil , alongside Eric Bana and Edgar Ramirez .

Sean Harris is then chosen to play the villain of Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation , Solomon Lane, an English spy who turned his coat around by creating the Syndicate, the ultimate enemy of the IMF.
