BIOGRAPHY
Sean Gunn is the youngest of six children of Leota and James F. Gunn. His brothers are director James Gunn , writer Matt Gunn, screenwriter Brian Gunn and producer Patrick Gunn. He also has an older sister, Beth. From a young age, Sean had the cinema bug. As a child, with his brother James, he made short films with a super 8 camera, with zombies as his favorite subject. After graduating from Jesuit St. Louis University High School, he went to auditions.

Sean found his first role in 1996 in the parody comedy Tromeo and Juliet co-directed by James Gunn. He followed that up with stealth appearances in films like Stricken , The Auteur Theory , and The Specials (written by his brother). It is on the small screen and its numerous series that he finds his most notable roles. He plays in Angel , The Wonderful World of Andy and especially Gilmore Girls (2000 – 2007). In the latter, he plays a regular character, that of the eccentric Kirk Gleason, holding a multitude of jobs.

We then see him in the series October Road , PG Porn and Bunheads . In 2010, his brother hired him to take part in his action comedy Super . Then, he chose him to join the lucrative Marvel saga via Guardians of the Galaxy (2014). Sean Gunn plays the character of Rocket in performance capture ( voiced by Bradley Cooper ). Building on the success of the blockbuster ($771 million in worldwide revenue), the actor is back for Guardians of the Galaxy 2 , Avengers 3 and 4 , Thor 4 and Guardians of the Galaxy 3 .

At the same time, Sean appeared in the films The Hive , An Ordinary Guy and The Suicide Squad (which James directed for Warner after his temporary dismissal from Disney), but also the series Bones , Superstore and Gilmore Girls: A New Year , where he reprises his character of Kirk Gleason.
