BIOGRAPHY
Photographer and videographer, Sam Taylor-Johnson, born Samantha Taylor-Wood, began her career as a filmmaker with the production of several short films. It was in 2006 that his work was noticed thanks to his participation in the collective film Destricted , bringing together shorts on art and sex, with Death Valley .

In 2009, the director signed her first feature film, Nowhere Boy , a biography centered on the youth of singer John Lenon. There she managed Aaron Taylor-Johnson, whom she married two years later. Sam Taylor-Johnson directed the highly anticipated Fifty Shades of Gray in 2014 , adapted from the book by EL James , with young Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan .
