She is an American teacher who was born in 1974 in California. She attended Village Christian School in California, the same school as Paul Walker. During their time at the private Christian school, they never knew each other. She graduated from school in 1992 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Education. She began her teaching career soon after graduating from college.

Rebecca first gained media attention when she and Paul Walker began dating in their early twenties. Earlier in 1998, Rebecca became pregnant with Walker. She then pressed him to marry her but Walker made it clear that his relationship with her was purely causal and did not result in love, although Rebecca felt the opposite. Walker also said that at that time he was barely ready to get married. Rebecca’s heartbreak was that Walker had no plans to marry her while she was pregnant with his child, which was one of the factors that led to their breakup, shortly after he went to bed.
