BIOGRAPHY
While attending CalArts, Peter Sohn landed a summer job working on Brad Bird’s animated film The Iron Giant (1999). After graduating from school, he worked at The Walt Disney Company and Warner Bros. before coming to Pixar in the art and story departments of Finding Nemo (2003). Sohn continued in the art, story, and animation departments with The Incredibles (2004), in which he focused on animating members of the Parr family. He also worked as a story artist on the Oscar-winning WALL.E (2008). He made his directorial debut at Pixar with the short film Partly Cloudy (2009), which was followed by his directorial work on the Disney Pixar original film The Big Dinosaur (2015), which was released in theaters in 2015. In addition to his contributions as a filmmaker, Sohn lent his voice to Pixar feature films. In 2022, Sohn will provide the voice of Sox, a robotic kitten, in the Pixar film Lightyear
