BIOGRAPHY
Daughter of actor-director Mark Miller and journalist Bea Ammidown, Penelope Ann Miller stopped her studies at eighteen to take dance, elocution and drama lessons in the New York studio of ‘ Herbert Berghof . Returning to the West Coast, she appeared in Hotshot (1987) and played Daisy in Neil Simon ‘s comedy Biloxi Blues , a role she reprized a few months later in New York, then on screen, under the direction of Mike Nichols and opposite Matthew Broderick .
