BIOGRAPHY
Born in Hollywood, Norman Reedus has an atypical professional career. An accomplished artist, he tries his hand at painting, photography, but also sculpture and production. Everything succeeded for him, until he became the model for the Prada brand . However, the young man is still full of resources and seeks to establish himself in the world of the 7th Art .

He began his career in plays, before being spotted by Guillermo Del Toro , who offered him the role of Jeremy in the horror film Mimic in 1999. Norman then distinguished himself in Under the Influence , playing Harry Odum , a young boy whose life turns violent. He continued with Blade II , Un Crime and American Gangster . In 2005, he landed the lead role in Antibodies , by Christian Alvart , in which he played a German police officer battling a serial killer.

Ten years after the first part, in 2009 he found Sean Patrick Flanery in the sequel to Boston Angels , where he played Murphy MacManus. Directed and written by Troy Duffy , the thriller features two twins being hunted by the FBI.

Norman doesn’t just shine in action films. He actually landed a few small roles in television series like New York: Special Unit or Masters of Horror . He notably participates in the pilot of the remake of Hawaii 5-0 after having been Nate Parks in two episodes of season 5 of Charmed .

In 2010, the AMC channel adapted the famous comic The Walking Dead for television . Norman decides to try his luck and takes part in the auditions. Robert Kirkman noticed this and created the character of Daryl Dixon, Merle’s brother, then absent from the comics. Success was achieved and new doors opened for the young man who also appeared in Lady Gaga ‘s music video , Judas, in 2013. The producers of the zombie series, admiring Norman’s work, offered him the lead role in Air , a new apocalyptic film.

Alongside the series, the actor was offered more substantial roles in the cinema. He thus joins the prestigious cast of the violent thriller Triple 9 and opposite Diane Kruger in the road movie Sky .
