Nina Earl is a former basketball player whose sports career started early between high school and high school with outstanding performances that won her many trophies and titles. Apart from basketball, she has also participated in athletic activities and her performance has been excellent.

Nina Earl Biography

Nina Earl was born on January 16, 1989 in her hometown of Upland in Southern California and named Nina Ann-Marie Earl. His rise to fame began during his high school days. She played for her varsity team in high school and was a consecutive winner for four years. She eventually earned an athletic scholarship to UCLA, where she continued to be an outstanding player. Nina Earl’s high school career ended with a stellar performance of 2,291 points, 906 rebounds, 298 assists and 544 steals.

In freshman year, Nina rose to be on the firstTeam USA worked hard for it, as her sports records show that in her freshman year at the Freshman, she started playing in 27 games and averaged 15 dots. During her junior season, Nina Earl received All-America honors from Street & Smith’s and Rise Magazine. She also participated with her team in the 2006 CIF 3AA championship.

In her senior year, the talented youngster once again led her team to the 2007 CIF title game, where she performed amazingly and scored 35 points.

Nina has won CIF Player of the Year and Cal HiSports All-State Selection twice, she has also won the league title three times. She was also the CIF All-Star Game MVP against City. She also participated in track and field activities as she competed in the 4×400 relay and 400m. Nina also played basketball for the FBC club in 2006, the team that won the Adidas Tournament of Champions that year.

In addition to sports, Nina is also interested in music and food, it is said that she is fluent in sign language. The former sportswoman earned a degree in English from UCLA in 2011 and a master’s degree in psychology.

As a sportswoman, Nina Earl’s figure is a medium height, she is curvy with a gallant height of 6 feet 1 inch or 1.85m. She is said to be only two inches shorter than her wife who is 6ft 3in tall.

The former basketball player’s marital status is currently married. She had a longtime relationship with college sweetheart Russell Westbrook, who is also a basketball player. The couple met when they were at UCLA. Westbrook played for the school’s men’s basketball team while Nina played for the women’s basketball team.

The couple tied the knot on August 29, 2015 in an outdoor ceremony at the famed Beverly Hills Hotel in a star-studded ceremony. Westbrook is usually called the thunder guard Thunder in Oklahoma City, and Nina got married in the presence of her friends and family, including her former and current teammates – Kevin Durant, Kevin Love, Serge Ibaka, Dorrell Wright and James Harden.

Everything at the ceremony was designed by family names. We couldn’t have expected less, as Nina’s engagement ring reportedly cost a whopping $700,000. The bride wore two gorgeous dresses, the first designed by designer Vera Wang and the second by Monique Lhuillier. The groom wore an exquisite tuxedo. The wedding cakes were made by Joanie and Leigh’s Cakes of Bel Air, Calif., and the flower arrangements by Mark’s Garden in Sherman Oaks, Calif. Mindy Weiss, one of the most famous event planners, handled the planning for the entire ceremony.

The best of Hollywood was on occasion. The couples first dance was a live performance by Lauryn Hill and “Nothing Even Matters.” De D’Angelo, and they gracefully left the ceremony to dance to Queen Bey’s live performance.

Other R&B stars in attendance included Keri Helson and Grammy Award winner Miguel who also performed to the surprise of the couple and guests. Guests were, however, restricted to using their phones and cameras during the ceremony. A little disappointing for them, but overall with such a presence at the event, it was fun. The ceremony was fully covered by the famous Peoples Magazine.

Children and family

The former basketball player gave birth to her first child for husband Westbrook Russel on May 16, 2017. The baby was named Noah Russell Westbrook.

Nina has three brothers, Michael, Jonathan and Benjamin, whose parents are Michael Earl and Jennifer Lyons. His cousin is former UCLA football star Kenny Easley.
