Nicki Aycox Died at 47 Years Old

Actress and singer Nicki Aycox passed away on November 16, 2022, at the age of 47. Her sister-in-law, Susan Raab Ceklosky, posted the news on social media:

“Nicki Aycox Raab, my beautiful, intelligent, strong, extraordinarily talented and beloved sister-in-law, passed away yesterday with my brother Matt Raab by her side. Nicki and Matt shared a wonderful life together in California. Everyone who knew her adored her because she was a warrior.”

Aycox died after a prolonged battle with leukemia. A year ago he was diagnosed with cancer and in March 2021 he began treatment. In January and February 2021 he became seriously ill and later stated:

“During the months of January and February I felt terribly unwell and thought I had Covid. Things reached their climax. I was hospitalized after being diagnosed with Lukemia (sic).

He also revealed that he was facing acute myeloid leukemia and in March said he had restarted therapy for the disease. Her roles in films such as Jeepers Creepers 2, Perfect Stranger and The X-Files: I Want to Believe made her known.

Over the years, Aycox has built a large fan base thanks to his numerous roles in movies and television shows.

Due to her participation in multiple television shows and movies, Nicki Aycox achieved recognition.

Nicki Aycox, who was born on May 26, 1975, used to sing and play piano in beauty pageants as a child. She has appeared in series such as 3rd Rock from the Sun, USA High, Boy Meets World, The X-Files and Providence.

She played a psychic cheerleader in the 2003 horror film Jeepers Creepers 2. The film received negative reviews from critics, but grossed between $63.1 and $120.0 million at the box office.

Aycox played Private Brenda “Mrs. B” Mitchell in the action-war drama series Over There from July to October 2005. Due to low ratings, the show’s 13-episode first season was canceled after only one year.

In an episode of the police procedural drama series Criminal Minds in 2006, she played deranged serial killer Amber Canardo.

Nicki Aycox played Meg Masters in the first season of the renowned dark fantasy drama series Supernatural. Executive producer, Kim Manners, commented on her casting:

“When you cast a woman who will have a strong character, I think you will inject some sensuality into the position. Even though it was in the script, I provided a lot of material on my own.”

The actor played Grace Clayton in the 2007 psychological thriller Perfect Stranger and Cheryl Cunningham in the 2008 supernatural thriller The X-Files: I Want to Believe.

In 2008, she played Melissa Scott in the horror film Joy Ride 2: Dead Ahead. In 2009, Aycox played Jaimie Allen in the television series Dark Blue. Her debut EP, Red Velvet Room, was released in 2015.
