The former player was born on June 26, 1980 as Michael Dwayne Vick under the zodiac sign of Cancer. He was born the second child of four children to parents Brenda Vick and Michael Boddie in Newport News, Virginia. At the time of his birth, his parents were not married, eventually marrying when Michael turned five. His father worked in the shipyards as a spray painter and sandblaster. While his mother worked two jobs in public financial assistance.
He started playing soccer together with his brother encouraged by his father at a young age. After that, the Falcons released Vick and ruled that his involvement in gambling activities breached his contract. He then served 19 months in jail under his parole and was denied ownership of his dog. But after serving his sentence in jail, he was allowed to have a dog again.
