Liu Tao – Bio, husband and family life of the Chinese actress

Liu Tao is a popular Chinese actress known for her roles in a wide range of Chinese television series. She has also appeared in both local and international films. Besides her acting talent, she is a star and also has an excellent voice. She was named Most Attractive Actress of the Year in 2004.

As a singer, Liu Tao is the voice behind many songs in the movies she has starred in. Some of these songs include The Feeling of Home in Ode to Joy 2, Tears of Love in Dali Princess, Fall in Love with Yourself in Madame White Snake, and Only Need You in My Beautiful Princess III. Let’s take a look at the life of the Chinese actress.

Biography of Liu Tao

Liu Tao was born on July 12, 1978 in Nanchang, Jiangxi, China, the most populous Asian country. The biological data of her parents are not known, nor is there any information on whether or not she has a brother or a sister. Nothing is known of his family situation at birth. It is also unknown where she grew up or if she received her primary and secondary education. However, she earned a law degree from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, although the year of her admission and graduation is not known.

From the above, a viewer can conclude that Liu Tao prefers to keep his life private and away from prying eyes. Upon graduation, the actress never practiced her profession (law), but instead served in the military for a time. She was a member of the entertainment section of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA), which unites China’s armed forces and includes the Ground Force, Navy, Air Force, Rocket Force and Strategic Support Force.

She soon left the military to work in electronic media where she was involved in commercials. Her commercials were very impressive and soon caught the attention of television producers who decided to give her a shot in their series and movies as a professional actress. She was cast in her first TV series in 2000. The movie was titled Jiu Ji Fan Guan and she played the role of Chu Chu. Her debut was not her breakthrough movie, however, which came three years later when she starred in the TV show My Beautiful Princess III as Mu Sha. The film was the third sequel to the original My Fair Princess series .

The same year, she also starred in two other TV shows which later brought her into the limelight. The first was Demi-gods where she played a zhu and then Demi-devils. Six years later, Liu Tao won her first antagonist role in the television series Da Li Princess. His next critically acclaimed series was Mazu which was a huge hit. The success was such that it won the Outstanding Television Series award at the China TV Golden Eagle Award.

Other films to his credit include To the Elderly with Love (2013), Nirvana on Fire (2015), Legend of Mi Yue (2015), Ode to Joy (2016). Being a talented and hardworking actress has its perks, which include the rewards. Liu has been nominated for various award categories in China and has won a plethora of them. For her role in the 2013 melodrama, To Elderly With Love, she won Best Actress at China TV Golden Eagle Award and Best Show at China Golden Eagle TV Arts Festival. In this film, she interprets the role of a career woman able to merge work and family responsibilities.

Apart from the TV series, she has also acted in a few movies some of which include the action thriller, The Stranger (2017) and the crime thriller Peacebreaker (2017). Liu Tao has reached great heights in the Chinese film industry and is a force to be reckoned with in China and beyond.

Husband and family life of the Chinese actress

Liu Tao keeps her surname although she is happily married to Wang Ke. The couple married in 2008 in grand style and have been married ever since. It is unclear when the couple started dating or when Wang proposed. Details about Wang, such as his birth, where he lived or studied, are not known. It is also unknown what his current profession is.

Their marriage had its ups and downs but they were able to weather the storm together. The couple currently share two children, Wang Ziyan and Wang Zijing. Ziyan was born six months after her parent’s marriage. In September 2009, Liu gave birth to Zijing.
