British actress Lena Headey will appear in Kurt Sutter’s Netflix Western action thriller series The Abandons. The actress is best known for her portrayal of Cersei Lannister in the HBO dramatic fantasy thriller Game of Thrones, for which she received five Primetime Emmy Award nominations and was nominated for a Golden Globe.

The Abandons follows a diverse group of eccentric families as they expand their territory in 1850s Oregon. Corruption and internal conflict threaten their safety and force them to flee.
