BIOGRAPHY
Ken Jeong (Kendrick Kang-Joh Jeong) was born on July 13, 1969 in Detroit. He joined a class for the gifted very early thanks to his particularly high IQ, and graduated from high school at the age of 16. In 1995, he received his MD from the University of Chapel Hill in North Carolina (the American equivalent of a doctorate in medicine).

He took up stand-up comedy while continuing his training at the Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans. His career began the day he was spotted by the president of NBC, winning the Big Easy Laff-Off competition. Ken Jeong then flew to Los Angeles, to perform in the comedy clubs The Improv and Laugh Factory, which had already launched the careers of masters of humor like Eddie Murphy , Jim Carrey , Chris Tucker , or Shawn Wayans and Marlon Wayans .

Ken quickly got noticed and multiplied his appearances in TV series between 2004 and 2009. Among these series are My uncle Charlie , Parents at all costs , The Office , Entourage , For better or for worse , Boston Justice , The Shield , Larry and His Belly Button , Worst Week , American Dad , Party Down , and Off Duty . Unfortunately for the actor, these are only fleeting roles.

It was in 2007 that he took his first steps in cinema, with the comedy Knocked Up, Instructions for Use by Judd Apatow . He subsequently starred opposite Paul Rudd and Seann William Scott in 2008 in Big Brothers . The same year, director Apatow called on him again to play in Funny People alongside Seth Rogen , whom he found shortly after in Délire Express .

But it was really in 2009 that he gained notoriety with the role of Chow in the hilarious and lucrative Hangover . He even won the MTV Movie Awards in the Best WTF Moment category, for the scene in which he emerges naked from the trunk of a car! Also in 2009, Ken appeared in the films Couples Therapy , The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard , All About Steve . This year brings him luck because he finally gets a permanent role in a series. That of Señor Chang in Community with Chevy Chase and Joel McHale .

We find Ken Jeong in 2010 in Bite Me Without Hesitation and The Forest Strikes Back . The same year, he also lent his voice to Despicable Me , and starred in a commercial for Adidas. In 2011, the actor is very present since he is on the poster for Zookeeper , Transformers 3 – The Hidden Face of the Moon , Big Mamma: From Father to Son , The Muppets, the Return and of course Very Bad Trip 2 .

Ken Jeong returned in 2013 in Hangover 3 with a much more important role than in the first two parts, then lent his voice again for Despicable Me 2 and appeared in the series Spy . Also in 2013, the actor, definitely very active, is present in Rapture-Palooza , Turbo and No Pain No Gain .
