BIOGRAPHY
Keeley Hawes was born and raised in London. In high school, she was approached by a modeling agency who offered her her first fashion contract. This experience allowed her to work for Cosmopolitan a few months later, and to obtain a scholarship thanks to which she enrolled in an independent theater school.

From 1989, Keeley Hawes made her mark by appearing in numerous British detective series. If she is simply passing through Forever Green , Inspector Wexford and Pie in the Sky , the young Londoner also lands a few regular contracts which help her to make herself known to the English public: teenager involved in a criminal case for Troublemakers , actress in film in Karaoke , and the daughter of a body snatcher in The Mutual Friend , based on the novel of the same name by Charles Dickens .

After ten years on the small screen, Keeley Hawes made her film debut in Bowler Hat and Leather Boots , worn by Ralph Fiennes and Uma Thurman and adapted from the famous series of the same name broadcast in the 1960s. character of Tamara, an agent of Sir August ( Sean Connery ).
