The OBE recipient is the son of industrial personnel manager James PatrickPage and Irish mother Patricia Elizabeth Gaffikin, who worked as a doctor’s secretary. He was originally born as James Patrick Page on January 9, 1944, in Heston, Middlesex, England. When he was eight, the guitarist moved to Feltham with his family, after which they moved to Miles Road and Epsom in Surrey, where he got his first guitar.
