The love of automobiles, the sound of a great engine, the unity and uniqueness of a car’s engineering and bodywork, the beauty of a vehicle’s motion, and the joy of car owners seeing their vehicle accelerate and decelerate as they please can be some of the factors that make Edd China a mechanic and people presenter. He’s a TV presenter, mechanic, automotive specialist and inventor and could have more titles added to his name, given that he never tires of coming up with something new motor-wise.

He rose to fame as the presenter and mechanic of the Discovery Channel TV show Wheeler Dealers (WD) alongside Mike Brewer. Edd has also appeared in other automotive related shows such as Classic Car Club, Top Gear, Scraphead Challenge, Fifth Gear

Edd’s biography

A perfectly dressed man of many hats, Edward “Edd” John China was born on May 9, 1971 in London. He had been positively obsessed with cars and mechanics since childhood and grew to turn his obsession into an innovative and profitable career. Edd China studied at King Edward’s School at Witley in Surrey and graduated with an engineering degree from London South Bank University.

He shot to fame building motorized sofas and a desk in college. His first notable project was the Casual Lofa (driving couch), built to raise money for a Raleigh International expedition to Belize. His creation earned him his first television job as a special effects technician on the comedy television program. Father Ted in 1994. After that he set up an outlet for his automotive designs and world record attempts in March 1999 and is also the managing director of Grease Junkie, a merch website.

He has also been hailed for his innovative prowess which has mostly earned his name on the Guinness World Records. It holds the record for the fastest shed, toilet, bed, milk cart and largest motorized cart.

Edd left his TV home, WD after being on the show for over ten years (2003-2017), following a disagreement with Velocity TV over the direction of the show. Ant Anstead, known for the British series, replaces him For the Love of Cars. After his departure, he launched his own show on YouTube, Revival of the garage Edd China show which premiered on May 1, 2018. “You have a problem, I think I have a solution” is the motto of his new show. There he meets owners of classic cars and accompanies them in their projects to restore vehicles that are stuck, for whatever reason.

Edd China’s net worth

Watching Edd turn wrecks into passersby and give old cars a chance to come back to life by styling them, we can’t help but think he’s worth all the profits he’s accrued from the services he has returned to car owners, whether they are mechanics or amateurs of mechanics. Over the years dedicated to his fort, he has amassed a net worth of $1.5 million.

the size

Edd would no doubt have qualified for an NBA team if only he had his interest in the game of basketball. But the tower of a man has its interest elsewhere, not even at the limit of athletics where height is a fairly strong criterion. Wondering how big it is? Edd China boasts an intimidating height of 2.01m (6ft 6in). His body weight, on the other hand, is 85 kg.

Is Edd China married, who is his wife, Imogen?

Imogen China is the fabulous wife of CarMaven. Although their relationship timeline isn’t available as to when they met, when they got married, or when they got married, the two couples are clearly having a great time as a married couple. They are relatively busy people, but they still make time to enjoy the company of their colleagues away from work. Her husband’s celebrity status may be credited for putting her in the limelight, but she has her own profile and is truly good at the number of things she has undertaken.

Imogen was born in 1971 in Norway, where she acquired most of her education. She obtained her master’s degree in business and economics from the BI Norwegian Business School before launching her professional career, first as a relationship manager. She worked for British Airways London Eye as Head of VIP Relations from March 2000 to September 2001, then as Head of External Relations for the Tussauds Group from 2002 to 2006.

In addition, Imogen China worked as a manager of Cummfy Banana Ltd in 2006 and would become manager of her husband’s automotive expert garage, Grease Junkie, from 2011 to 2017, before serving as the People’s Republic of China manager at Bracknell, England. She is 5 feet 6 inches tall.
