BIOGRAPHY
Hunter Parrish is an American actor and singer, born on May 13, 1987, in Richmond, Virginia. He grew up in a strict religious environment, where he also had the support of his parents to pursue his dreams in acting. He studied drama at the Texas Tech University Independent School District and, shortly after graduation, made his film debut with the film Sleepover (2004). A year later, he would manage to obtain the role for which he is most remembered: Silas Botwin, in the acclaimed television series Weeds (2005-2015), where he participated in 102 episodes. With this, his career took on an important boost that has helped him establish himself as one of the young talents to watch. During his time on the series, and after its end, Hunter has participated in films such as Freedom Writers (2007), 17 Again (2009), Always Alice (2014) and series such as The Following (2015), Quantico ( 2017) and Ratched (2020) among several others.
